MWA has a nascent skill and ability in health design, with experience in the design, documentation and procurement of several sub acute facilities for rehabilitation and mental health. Our interest in the patient journey, IT integration, mental health, salutogenics and preventative care see it differentiated from more traditional architectural approaches. MWA has available health architecture resources in terms of staff, relevant design standards and modules, CAD systems and stakeholder review processes that mean it can take on niche health projects where there is a special interest in unique or innovative approaches in health design.
