Taking a wholistic view of Community Health, and acting positively in the Local Community, this Design Thought Study expresses the opportunity to create an interlinked pedestrian domain fringing the north shore of Sydney Harbour and running in a completely connected way from North Sydney Pool and Luna Park, right through to the recently refurbished Coal Loader and existing Balls Head Nature Reserve, providing for the Community an interesting, active and connected outdoor space, and integrating health services such as child care, yoga, gyms, a community wellness centre, as well as opportunities to improve the presence of Sydney’s unique nautical heritage within the Berry’s Bay frame.

Outcomes of the Study were presented to the North Sydney Mayor in late August 2020. Council have now created a Working Group to look at such opportunities moving forward.
