Recently MWA were invited to provide concept designs for multi-unit accommodation on several key blocks in Sydney and surrounds. Looking at each site individually, a well as local price point characteristics, allowed us to tune each design concept specifically to its locality and Client. We considered a reasonable level of design innovation in generating the outputs, as well as the pragmatics of goof functional planning, access to views and breezes, integration of indoor and outdoor spaces, function and utility of landscaped zones, shad and light, view framing from within key rooms of the house, bulk and scale and value improvement based on a robust and reliable interpretation of local development codes, as specific to the site characteristics.
